THE SIGNATURE COLLECTIONS

When designing costume jewelry at CHANEL for many years, Tatiana Verstraeten was trained to challenge shapes and forms.

In her eponymous jewelry collection, she demonstrates her capability to create remarkable show-stopping pieces while maintaining the very essence of high jewellery tradition. Grace and elegance are genuine. Her jewels, however large they may be, still suit all women.

The designer is deeply inspired by movement and light, who so powerfully enhance women’s beauty.

The fringe earrings (here above in picture) are inspired by the delicate embroidery work that Tatiana discovered at Les Ateliers Lesage while working at CHANEL Studio with Karl Lagerfeld.

It is the first piece of the collection that was realized. Clouds of pearls and diamonds float on strings of gold. Tatiana designed them as notes on a music score. She aimed to obtain something ethereal, like a delicate rain of diamonds and pearls. The result is featherlight and simply beautiful.

Tatiana’s jewels need to be worn to come alive on the body. The pieces move and glisten. She designs an aesthetic, not an object.

The graceful must-have fringe earrings are revisited by Tatiana in each signature collection.
